And Baby Makes Four!
If you don't follow me on Instagram, then you may be a little late to the party. Here's what I shared the other day:
I found out this New Year's Eve that we are expecting! It was very much a shock, definitely not "planned," but definitely a blessing in the end. I have been so happy learning how to be a momma with Remy, and I really REALLY wanted at least one full year with just the focus on her, maybe even more, but in a marriage there are two opinions and sets of goals and my hubby wanted to grow the family a little earlier than I had anticipated. He shocked himself I think at how quick it happened! This may be TMI, but I only had one cycle since having Remy and well, always listen to your fifth grade sex ed teacher, that whole thing about it only taking one time. So here we are, or, I am, back in the OB/GYN, feels like I was just here- oh wait- I was! The excitement and joy for me will come, right now I am a little scared. Do any off you have "Irish twins" as they call it? Or, back to back kiddos? Hubby thinks my insecurities are crazy and outlandish and I should be happy, and of course I am, it will all be fine, but you know...maybe I KNOW what is coming this time! A LOT of work! There is bound to be a lot of laughs too though...
I am almost certain of weekend, if not exact day of conception so right now the due date is measuring September 1, but according to my date, that puts us at September 9, and we all hope it is before September 11, and it's just the right timing to screw up Daddy's annual soccer tournament in California. It also happens to be Labor Day weekend which is fitting, and Labor Day was the day I found out I was pregnant with Remy, so here we are full circle! It will be a crazy and fun household over here and I guess the timing works out perfectly. Who know when they are actually "ready" to jump in and do it again anyway???
Thanks for reading and I will be sure to keep you updated!
SO this darn balloon photo shoot was the pits! It took two days of getting dressed and getting us all out to the park. Imaging trying to juggle a terribly cheap tripod, add wind, plus a squirmy baby and directing a hubby not to hold her so that he covers her outfit and trying to stage this thing yourself! Whew! The balloon ended up blowing away as I tried to hit the time button and run through the grass in heels. Husband laughed his butt off and that was that.
There she blows!
Remy wondering what daddy is laughing and probably thinking her parents are dorks.
