Happy Christmas Eve! Hope you are NOT reading this today, but spending it with your family, friends, loved ones, neighbors, pets...movies and jammies and whatever makes you blissfully happy. We are headed to NYC today and will be MIA until we return! You can follow along our adventures on Instagram!
Tomorrow morning I'll be waking up early and pressing that "start" button on the coffee pot and whipping up some pancakes. Tomorrow will be our Christmas morning with prezzis since we won't be home. Can't wait to see Remy's face light up with one of the gifts from Santa...
Yesterday I decided last minute to deliver some sweets to a few neighbors around the block. We took wine and sweets over to our favorite neighbors last night with Remy and she got to admire their Christmas tree aglow, up close for the first time and her excitement was magical! They were so sweet and gave her some wonderful little toys and she played on the carpet in front of a warm fire. This couple has two grown children and several grand children but they live out of state, so it was so special to bring our little bit of joy, Remy, into their home this holiday. Maybe this will be a new tradition of ours, Christmas Eve, eve.
I was up late cleaning out my photos to make space for our trip and here's a few from December! The past two weekends have been busy! We had a date night which included a delicious, and fast, dinner at P.F. Chang's downtown- didn't want to miss the show- followed by a GORGEOUS performance of the Nutcracker by the Colorado Ballet perform the Nutcracker. We had the BEST seats I can ever remember having for a ballet- center orchestra- and we got to see Maria Mosina perform the Sugar Plum Fairy. If you haven't yet gone- GO! We also had two graduation parties, CONGRATS Tatiana and Shaina!!!- a special third birthday for a niece, a birthday brunch at Lola's for Nissa, and a holiday party. I didn't think I got to do anything festive this year until I just typed all that out! We may not have made it to zoo lights or the German Christkindl market this year, but I'm pretty sure NYC has some surprises waiting for us to discover! What are some of your traditions? How are you spending the holidays?
Have a very MERRY Christmas everyone!
Thanks for stopping by!
*Also a big CONGRATS to Kelsey Bigelow who won the 50 Dresses apron, and a pat on the back to Jessica Trimble for winning the Colorado goodies basket!
