Glad you found us!

I don't ski, I don't drink craft beer and I don't have a dog, but by golly I am a real Colorado native girl.  So now you can still believe in unicorns!  Here's my ode to motherhood, you know because all of us bloggers write like we were the first, only and last mama out there.

Daffy Apple Do

Daffy Apple Do

Late last week we made it over to Nick's Garden Center's Fall Festival.

We stayed home all morning, but I had let a mention slip out about possibly making it to Nick's for some fall fun.  After lunch, the girls started asking about going so when Baba came home from work we decided to go all together.

The ONLY thing these girls wanted to do was BOUNCE.  They could wake and sleep in a bouncy castle and be the happiest girls ever!  Remy tore the bottom tier of her skirt off from climbing up and sliding down this thing over. And over. And OVER!

Arlo dabbled in corn hole, but really loved the pumpkin ring toss!  She had a great hand actually and even looped one around the white pumpkin after only a couple tosses!  We were impressed.

They were NOT impressed however with mom being anywhere near them for photos.  They did NOT want to take any pumpkin pics, apparently DISLIKED Daffy Apples, and got irritated by the maze,

We made up for all of that with a box of Dots on the way out.  I for one LOVED my Daffy Apple!  I hadn't had one in YEARS!

So, if I had a lot of disposable income, I would LOVE to decorate my porch with the white and the green pumpkins and a couple of those Cinderella pumpkins which are my FAVORITE!  Also, how weird are the bumpy, warty peanut pumpkins?!  Nick's is such a wonderful place!  We are SO lucky they are just a hop, skip and a light or two away from us!

We went during the week at school pick up time, just randomly worked out that way, but there were zero lines and lots of open space!  I hear weekends get crazy, like all this fall stuff, but they do have chile roasting and apple cider and more festivities on weekends I believe.  You can also choose to pay for a train ride for kiddos or a tractor ride through a spooky tunnel.  My girls had NO interest in any of that.  This time!

Remy and Arlo are both wearing vintage pieces.  Arlo's panda tee is from a local bakery actually, but this panda tee is pretty cute and $13! Similar yellow overalls, no print though.  And found a similar navy swiss dot vintage inspired dress here. I am wearing a top from Madewell and vintage denim.
