Sunny September Morning
Ever feel uninspired?
Sometimes I just get in a rut with wanting to be creative…definitely has EVERYTHING to do with my spirit and my mental health and all that’s happening around me. So much that goes into content creation and creative spaces and production has to do with the strength and happiness of the psyche, and for me, I am not always at a peak functioning level for any output. So I am idle. Finally downloaded photos from a beautiful and wonderful break the girls and I spent at one of our favorite places out west.
We never fall short of things to do, see or explore, even if we’ve already done it all before, it’s always something so special to be on the western slope, in nature and with less distractions. I found this little pack of two paper bags at Target in the dollar spot area before our trip. They had little prints of items to do a nature hunt and collect in the paper bag. I brought them along to do a little guided walk on the property one morning, or was it a way to drink my coffee with less quarrels?
Of course the walk ended round back with feeding the goats!
I absolutely love these photos for the morning September sun shining on these two beauties I am so blessed with. I love their little bare legs hanging out of their jammy shorts and rubber wellies. I love how Lo plopped on Pa’s Colorado Rockies ball cap, and backwards to boot, before heading out. I love that even when I could be having troubles and stormy clouds rumbling up inside, these two girls right here center me, calm me, focus me and bring SO MUCH HAPPINESS.
The best thing we found that morning were giant “wishes.” Dandelions. I had filmed them, but my audio for some reason failed, and so glad technology did so because their little whispers and wants, flitting through the air needs not to fall on anyone else’s ears but ours. I love them.
Both are wearing pajama sets from Old Navy. We love their jammies!
